Policies

9B offers full development and production services. If 9b has done your development for the product(s) that are going into production, then the customer must approve sample(s) before any production can begin. Customers that have done their full development, can send us their markers and production approved patterns and/or samples for production services. It is always recommended for us to make you a sample before going into production. Customer Purchase Order must include the following: Company name, your name, date, shipping and billing information, style, color, fabric, and quantities for each color/size. Also, any instructions related to your production must be mentioned on your purchase order.

After review of your purchase order, a 9b representative will confirm your purchase order. Every order must be formally accepted by 9b in order to be valid. Once purchase is confirmed and deposit is received, production will start. You will receive an expected completion date once your production deposit is received and all components of your production are present in our facilities. 

If customer is providing fabric, labels, trims, packaging materials or any other components, these items will all have to be present before production can start. 9b has the right to delay or change completion date of the production until all components to complete production has been received.

Cancellations

All cancellations are subject to 9b approval. Cancellations cannot be accepted on orders after production approvals are signed and production has begun. 

Customers must notify 9b of any claims for shortages or quality problems within seven (7) days of receipt of goods. Claims may not be submitted after goods are embellished, printed or garment dyed by the customer. The customer is responsible for any fallout or losses that may result from any dye process.

Returns & Credits

After evaluating a claim, 9b may authorize a return by issuing a Return Authorization number. We will not accept any merchandise claims if any additional processing has altered the garments. A credit memo may be issued upon receipt of goods and inspection by the 9b quality control department, and only up to the value of the invoiced garments. Deductions from payment are not to be taken until the credit memo has been issued.

Shipping

All merchandise is shipped FOB Los Angeles, California. Orders are shipped by a customer-designated carrier or by UPS ground. Partial shipments on production may be made. 9b will not be responsible for loss or damage during shipment. All freight claims for damaged, lost, and/or missing merchandise must be filed with the appropriate carrier.

Overages

For custom garments, 9b overcuts order quantities by approximately 5%-10% in order to prevent shortages, and ships all first quality goods.

Payment Terms Pre-Production: Customer must pay 100% of each pre-production cost in full.

 

Production

Customers must make a 65% deposit before production begins and pay the balance before any shipments are made. Items will not be sent if production is not paid in full. Some companies may be factored. If you are already factored, 9b representative will establish a factor contract before any production begins. We accept checks, credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks and PayPal. All PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express have a 5% processing fee. Deposit/payments must be paid before any work can be done.

Other Policies

Customers, who ship items to us, must enclose a shipping receipt or pay for shipping to receive their sample packages back. Samples sent for initial review will be disposed of after 120 days, if the customer does not initiate a return. 

When submitting any development or production instructions to us, it must be written in a purchase order format. Instructions in the body of an email will not be accepted. You may attach your instructions (dated) to the body of you email as a separate attachment. 

Customers who delivery production fabrics and/or trims, have up to 9 months to ask for their excess fabrics and/or trims to be sent back to them. 9B has the right, with out any fault, to discard customer fabrics and/or trims after 9 months. 9B will send an email at least 30 days before any such action, to ask the for appropriate shipping documents to be sent so customers can receive their property back.
